03/13/10 - CHEER ALLIANCE - PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

WHAT A WEEKEND!  The year of the Tiger began with a splash.  Our mini's competed for the first time in their history and had an amazing run.  Look for some big things from this small team at Nationals.  Our Youth team had one of the most solid and consistent performances of the weekend, and proved that they belonged at Level 2.  With a few adjustments and some hard work heading into the spring this team is sure to contend for top spot at Nationals.  The biggest improvement came from our Senior 3 team, Tigers Blue.  Finishing at the back of the pack at C4TC they made a charge for the outright win on Saturday but weren’t able to overtake our own WildCats finishing in an amazing 2nd place finish.  This team is not done growing and has lots more to give for Nationals.  The Tigers Gold team has two of their best runs of the season this past weekend.  Trailing after the first day by 1.7, the Tigers fought back to outscore the first place team only to come up 0.7 short on the overall.  The division should be intense at Nationals and you can bet this team will be hungry!

11/24/09 - QUEEN OF THE NILE - CINCINNATI, OHIO
What a great trip to Cincinati our Senior teams had!  We packed it up to compete at the All-Star Challenges National

Championships.  This being a two day competition with strong judges, we were really able to get a feel for where our teams needed to go.  The Blue team had a few performances issues on the first but still scored very strong!  With the focus being our artistic elements and our presence on the floor for day two, the team came through amazingly, scoring 26 marks higher in those categories and boosting their overall mark by 7 which is amazing.  The gold team had a great day 1 performance and seemed to ooze with confidence going into the second day.  With about 5 minutes left before awards and the Tigers

Gold team wrapping up their final practice mat chaos hit.  The team pulled together, made adjustments and hit a run they should be proud of.  All in all, great performances and another successful weekend.  See you at C4TC.

11/24/09 - FALL CLASSIC

What a great start to the season for our 2009/10 Tigers.  The coaches are extremely proud of our teams amazing showings to start off the competitive season!  This year, the Tigers have 5 teams including the debut of both the mini level 1 team, and our small junior level 2 squad.  The mini's had a great showing and all the girls were excited to finally get out on the floor.  Our youth team has taken a big step in a short time and we've moved up to level 2.  A great run with some normal early season issues and our youth team claimed their first victory in its two year history.  Our junior team was in a tough junior 2 division of 3 team and placed second.  With so many new people on this team this accomplishment is great.  The senior blue team is attempting to also take a level up step having dominated the Canadian circuit at level 2 last season.  A great performance lead to a great victory and a perfect start to the year.  Finally, our longest running team, the Senior Gold team, had a strong start in the co-ed level 4 division winning both their division and the Grand Champion in  their level 4.  All in all, great performances by all and a great way to start the year.

09/10/09 - BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

Back to School is the greatest time of the season and the gym is roarin' with activity.  The teams are heading into their main choreography sessions, and new people are still coming through the doors.  We've quickly grown to 5 teams, and all our teams are sure to be very competitive as the season moves on.   The staff is excited for the best season yet!!

05/12/09 - Tigers Season - HUGE SUCCESS
Our three teams competed beautifully at the 2009 Nationals and did the coaches and program very very proud.

Youth

Our youth team entered the big arena for the first having only 1 athlete with prior competitive experience.  Facing many difficult situations our Youth Tigers replaced an athlete minutes before competing and pulled off two great runs. The team placed 7th in a division of 14 leaving them just a few marks out of the top 3 spots in an extremely close division.  The youth Tigers have had a great season and will no doubt bring their experience and skill to a bigger and better 2009-10.

Blue

The Tigers Blue team has had an amazing season and one that all the coaches will remember for years to come.  The amount of wins and skill development this team had this season is immeasurable.  The Blue team struggled a little on the first day with no major issues but a couple of small errors which put them in 2nd after day 1.  Their performance on Day 2 was absolutely memorable yet we still ended up in 2nd by 2.7 marks out of 400.  It took a program to pool it’s efforts from different cities and different locations to take down this homegrown team of champions.  This team soared above all expectations this year and all of them will be huge assets to the program for years to come.  Your 3 wins this year have set a new standard for all our teams to achieve to.

Gold

While we didn’t have that picturesque finish that we wanted the Tigers Gold team showed character and heart in hanging to win another National title over last year’s level 4 Nationals winners from Milton.  A couple of issues occurred on Day 2 but some amazing saves and quick thinking gave us enough to hold onto the lead we had build up after the first day.  This team has truly had a learning year and walked the walk at level 4.  Our experiences this season will make us stronger and more competitive in the years to come.  We are extremely proud of this team, and you deserve the win that you got.

12/13/08 - Tigers Look Great @ Cheer For The Cure
